Dataset of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6) and life expectancy at birth of countries
This dataset is about countries, has 194 rows. It features 3 columns: country, greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6), and life expectancy at birth. The preview is ordered by population (descending) and is 98% filled with non-null values.

greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6) (Mt of CO2 equivalent): A measure of annual emissions of the six greenhouse gases (GHG) covered by the Kyoto Protocol (carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulphurhexafluoride (SF6)) from the energy, industry, waste, and agriculture sectors, standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values. This measure excludes GHG fluxes caused by Land Use Change Land Use and Forestry (LULUCF), as these fluxes have larger uncertainties. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
life expectancy at birth (year): Life expectancy at birth indicates the number of years a newborn infant would live if prevailing patterns of mortality at the time of its birth were to stay the same throughout its life.
