In the greater Washington, D.C. area, the university is developing the 1 million-square-foot Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, which will become a global talent pipeline and center for technology excellence. In Roanoke, Virginia, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC, the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine Animal Cancer Care and Research Center are a part of the university’s Health Sciences and Technology campus.
